I'm rather nervous. As a rule, I don't typically show my art to many people. But I'll give it a shot - if I don't get over it now, how can I possibly work as an animator?

I mostly do fanart. Not because I'm incapable of anything original, but I have to care about a character in order to draw them. I always feel detached from a picture when I just make up some random person off the top of my head. They don't have a personality, or a history, so why should I give a crap about them? Occasionally I do draw characters that I invent for stories (which will most likely never be written, but nonetheless), but even then it's because they're already solidified people. Also, I'd like to save any original work I do for a job portfolio, rather than just posting it on the internet and succumbing to art theivery. It happens, and even if my stuff isn't steal-worthy, it's still mine, so I want to take care of it.

I don't do requests. I might do gift art once in a great while, but not very often. Sorry.

Other than that, there isn't much to say about me. My classmates tell me that I'm extraordinarily boring, because I'd rather bake cookies than party and get hammered. I figure my mornings are better though, because I have fresh cookies and they have hangovers.
